Famously known as the land of Tigers, the Ranthambore National Park, which is located in the city of Sawai Madhopur is flooded with the wildlife enthusiasts during the most famous Indian festival known as Diwali. The hotels and resorts that sprawled at the periphery of the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve have been full of the tourists who visited here to spend their long weekend holidays in this Diwali festival. The local hotel owners, shopkeepers and other local business owners are brimming with joy after seeing such a large tourist flow hoping it will enhance their business this festive season.

Not only the Indian tourists, but the number of foreigners also increased in this festive season. The forest department of the Ranthambore National Park has taken a step to increase the number of safari vehicles to cater to such a massive flow for the time being. Recently, the number of visitors dropped after the forest department had lessened the number of safari per day. So, enhancing the safari will attract more visitors. The increasing or decreasing the number of safari entering the park affects the number of visitors as well. Mostly the tourists visit the Ranthambore with the sole purpose of exploring the forest and sighting the tigers and wild animals. So, less safari means fewer visitors and less business.

However, the Ranthambore forest department has increased the number of Jeeps and Canters during this festive season. The department has increased the safari vehicles by 5 Jeeps and 5 Canters per shift. The Jeep drivers and guides are happy with the enhancement of the number of safari vehicles. The Jeep can carry a maximum of 6 people and a Canter can carry a maximum of 20 people. Such a heavy flow of wildlife lovers in Ranthambore increased the happiness between locals whose businesses run due to the tourism in Ranthambore. They are looking forward to the good business this festive season.
