Ranthambore National Park
Welcome to our Ranthambore National Park’s online safari booking portal. Tourists can pre-book their safari seats online and avoid any inconvenience after reaching the national park. Safari seats can be booked online for both jeeps and canters. There are a total of 10 safari zones, and the number of safari vehicles allowed every day in the Ranthambore safari zones is strictly regulated by the Forest Department. Both the jeep and canter safaris are available in all 10 zones.
In order to enter the forest area and explore the fauna and flora species of Ranthambore, tourists need to book safaris. Private vehicles are not allowed inside the forest. Time slots are fixed by the Forest Department officials, and their timings vary slightly by season. The jeep and canter safaris are conducted in the morning and evening shifts. Only a single zone is covered in a particular safari. Tourists cannot ask the driver to cover more than one zone in one safari. Every safari vehicle in Ranthambore (both jeep and canter) is accompanied by a driver and a guide. Additionally, tourists needto carry a hard copy of their safari permit, since mobile phones are not allowed inside the safari zones. Without the safari permits, visitors will not be allowed to enter the safari zone.
Additionally, drivers and guides during the safari are also allotted by the Forest Department. Hence, tourists do not hold the authority to choose them. The guides and drivers are allotted randomly, and the safari vehicle is provided as chosen by the tourist during advance Ranthambore online safari booking. According to the current Ranthambore Tiger Safari Booking policy, the 20 jeeps of 6 seaters and 20 Canter of 20 seaters are allowed to enter the Ranthambore National Park in one shift. While pre-booking the Ranthambore safari tickets, the entire payment has to be completed in advance. Only then permits are issued, which can be downloaded. Tourists need to have a hard copy ofthe permit, as mobile phones are strictly banned inside the safari zone. Safari goers must take note that once the safari tickets are booked, they are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Jeep & Canter Safari is considered the most feasible option to explore the wildlife in Ranthambore. However, spotting the Royal Bengal Tiger resting in their natural habitat depends on your pure luck. Every day, two safaris are conducted for a specified time. The Jeeps & Canters carrying groups of tourists is accompanied by a trained and expert guide are allowed to enter the park with a valid permit. There is a fixed route for the safari inside the park within the appointed time. At a time limited vehicles are allowed into the park for free movement and better possibility of sighting.

Ranthambore National Park Open Timings
Generally, the opening and closing times of Ranthambore National Park are in sync with the sunrise and sunset. The national park opens around half an hour after sunrise and closes around half an hour before sunset. As the sunrise and sunset timings change with the change of the season, the entry and exit timings of the Ranthambore National Park change accordingly. Ranthabore usually sees a heavy rush on weekends and holidays, so it is always advisable to book safari and hotels in advance. The peak tourist season from October to March receives a huge inflow of tourists.
