Tiger T-28 Died in Ranthambore National Park

In a recent incident in the Ranthambore National Park, a tiger T-28 aka Star Male died suspiciously today morning in the forest. He was 11 years old and the star attraction of the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, and was the most dominant tiger of the park till now. He was dominating the entire lake area which includes the territories of Singh Dwar, Lakkad, Tamba Khan, Gular Kui, Dah Mandoop, Chinnali, Lahpur, Nal Ghati, Gaandra Tiraha, Telan Pacheri, etc. spread across the tourism zones of 2 to 5 along with the large non-tourism area as well.
Today, the tiger T-28 got inside the Chhan village located at the periphery of Ranthambore National Park, which frightened the villagers. When villagers get assembled on the spot, the tiger tried to escape and hurt a villager. Then, the angry villagers tried to search the tiger, but they couldn't find the tiger and informed the forest department about the incident.
The officials of the Ranthambore forest reached immediately on the spot when got the information. The forest officials tranquilized the tiger and rescued it after a lot of struggle. However, the tiger died on the way. The cause of death is not clear yet. After the post mortem report, the reason of death will be known. The wildlife enthusiasts poured their grief messages after the news of the death broke on the social media platforms.
The tiger T-28 was known as the Star Male or Sitara due to the 5 point mark of a star on his left eye. He came to prominence after his fierce fight with the legendary tigress Machli in the year 2009. The fight for the territory claim was witnessed by the group of tourists. T-28 was the father of both the cubs from both the litters of T-19.
