Ranthambore Tiger Tours

Destination : Delhi - Ranthambore - Jaipur - Bharatpur - Agra - Corbett - Dhikala - Delhi
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive late night at New Delhi International airport. On arrival the guest will be meet by our representative with the traditional Indian welcome, and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi – Ranthambore (350 km)
Morning assisted transfer to the rail terminal to board your train to Sawai Madhopur. Delhi - Sawai Madhopur - Golden Temple Mail - (second air-conditioned sleeper class).
Met upon arrival in Sawai Madhopur and transferred to your hotel in Ranthambore (12 kilometers, approximately 30 minutes driving distance) by our representatives. Stay at 03 nights in the wildlife Resort. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive.

Day 03 : Ranthambore
Morning and evening safari in jeeps to Ranthambore national Park and spend time tracking Tigers and viewing other wildlife attractions of the park. Overnight at the resort.

Day 04 : Ranthambore
Morning and evening safari in Ranthambore national Park and spend time tracking Tigers and viewing other wildlife attractions of the park. Overnight at the resort.

Day 05 : Ranthambore - Jaipur (180 km)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur check in at the hotel In the afternoon city sightseeing tour visit including the imposing City Palace, still home to the Maharaja although several of the rooms are now open to the public. Many antiques and artefacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry. Then visit the Hawa Mahal "Palace of the Winds", and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory to see the vast astronomical instruments. Enjoy a stroll through the colorful bazaar before returning to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Jaipur - Bharatpur (160 km)
Morning after breakfast an excursion tour to Amber fort. In the afternoon drive to Bharatpur bird sanctuary. Overnight at hotel. Bharatpur sanctuary is the creation of the Maharaja of Bharatpur in the late 19th century, who recognized the area's potential and augmented the water supply by diverting water from a nearby irrigation canal.

He also constructed small dams, dykes and shooting butts & in a few years the new ecosystem so flourished that it was able to support thousands of water birds. Here over 350 species of birds find refuge in the 29 sq kms of shallow lakes & wood lands of the park. A third of them are migrants many of whom spend winter in Bharatpur before returning to their breeding grounds as far away as Siberia and Central Asia.


Day 07 : Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Morning and afternoon walk to the sanctuary to best view of the migratory bird. In the afternoon enjoy a rickshaw ride. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Bharatpur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (70 km)
After breakfast drive to Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. The fort was built in the 16th century and only occupied for a few years before being abandoned, leaving the buildings in virtually perfect conditions. On arrival in Agra, check into the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Taj Mahal is the mausoleum of Empress Mumtaz Mahal, the beloved spouse of Shah Jahan, who died in 1630.

The Taj complex comprises a forecourt, a lofty entrance, a charming formal Mughal garden with canals and a central tank with a series of fountains, the tomb proper, and an attached mosque on the west and its symmetrical counterpart on the east. The Taj is remarkable for its perfect proportion and rich pietra dura, with minute details executed with great skill. The building, often styled "a dream in marble" is said to have taken at least 22 years (1631-1653) to build. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 : Agra - Delhi (240 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Red Fort built by three generations of Mughal Emperors starting from Akbar the Great in 1565 AD, which is a masterpiece of design and construction. It housed both the residential Palaces of the Royal family, and the military quarters. In the afternoon drive to Delhi. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Delhi / Corbett National Park (280 km)
Morning after breakfast drive to Corbett national park, on arrival check in at the wildlife resort. Overnight at resort.

Day 11 : Corbett - Dhikala Forest Lodge
Morning safari to the national park, return to the resort for breakfast. Then visit Garjiya temple along with the river Kosi. In the afternoon drive to Dhikala forest lodge. On arrival check in at the lodge. After lunch drive to Dhangarhi Gate. The Corbett Dhikala tour begins from here. Drive for a jeep safari to the grassland to view the wildlife especially the evasive tiger. For your safely the lodge is enclosed by the effective solar fence. You may sit on the varandah at night and enjoy the breathtaking wild and jungle's sound to get an unforgettable experienced. Overnight stay at Dhikala Forest Lodge.

Day 12 : Dhikala
Early in the morning take an elephant ride before breakfast to experienced the real fun of tracking tigers in Corbett. On an elephant back you feel yourself safe and secure from the wild animals at an altitude of over 10 feet above the ground, and it give a panoramic view to watch the jungle sight and wildlife. Take lunch and spend afternoon on a watch tower which is 1 km away from the Dhikala resort overlooking the river Ramganga.

Corbett is an ideal place for the birds watcher. You may see the incredible kind of birds like kingfisher, crested serpent eagle and much more. Now, it is time to go with a jeep safari along the river Ramganga crossing the river at the Gathiarao bridge to the Kanda range. This is the place where the famous naturalist and conservationist Jim Corbett shot the Kanda man-eater. To watch the wildlife in its real prime habitat is a wonderful experience. Come back to the Dhikala resort. Watch a film on the conservation of Corbett . Overnight stay at forest lodge.

Day 13 : Dhikala / Delhi (280 km) / Departure
Morning after breakfast leave for Delhi, on arrival transfer to the International airport to board the flight for onward destination.
