News Update: The tigress was not getting into the camera trap for several days. The age of the four cubs is said to be about two months. Ranthambore tiger project area forest officer Mahendra Sharma said that additional cameras are being installed for their monitoring.<\/p>\n

Tigress T-111 has given birth to four cubs in Ranthambore National Sanctuary in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Monitoring has been increased in the area where the tigress was seen in her four cubs. Sawai Madhopur Chief Conservator of Forests TC Verma said that the tigress was seen with four newborn cubs near Adi Dagar drain located in Kundera Lakkada area of Ranthambore National Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The tigress was not getting into the camera trap for several days. The age of the four cubs is said to be about two months. Ranthambore tiger project area forest officer Mahendra Sharma said that additional cameras are being installed for their monitoring.<\/p>\n

There are already cameras installed in the forest. He said that the behaviour and physical structure of the tigress T-111 seemed to have given birth to cubs. After the arrival of four new cubs, now Ranthambore has a total of 69 tigers. Of these, 21 are males and 30 are females. Along with them there are 18 cubs. Apart from this, there are two cubs along with 1 male tiger and 1 female tigress in the forest of Kailadevi coming under the Ranmbhore Tiger Project area.
