The tiger which strayed from Ranthambore National Park area to Sultanpur range in Kota will be now relocated after tranquillizing and fitting GPS-enabled neckband. This initiative has been taken by the department due to increasing number of Tigers in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and struggle for the new territories among the tigers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Ranthambore forest officials, the decision to shift the T-110 to Seljar range of Mukundra Hills has been initiated after obtaining the required permission from National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a statement as reported in the Times of India; forest officials said that they have already one hectare fenced area at Seljar for the soft release. The department had earlier granted the permission for the same from NTCA to shift the tiger in the northern part of the tiger reserve area (Selzar Area, Borawas Range) where prey base augmentation was carried out by translocating Sambar and spotted deer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Wednesday, forest department made attempts to sedate the tiger which has created panic situation among the villagers near kherli Tawaran. The decision was taken as the tiger that was lurking in the fields charged at villagers. According to villagers report, the big cat even killed a cow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This decision has thrilled wildlife enthusiasts as the Hadauti region including both range \u2013 Seljar and Darrah can boast to have a tiger. However, it is really a challenging assignment for the forest department to provide safe environment for tigers in MHTR as major chunks of villagers living inside the protected forest area are refusing to rehabilitation.
